A custom father's day song for Steve

[0:01] Hi, my name is Vicky Kreeson. [0:04] And I made a song for my husband, Steve Kreeson, for Father's Day. [0:11] And what made me hesitate? [0:15] Um, the lyrics. [0:16] I did not want just general lyrics saying, [0:20] 'I love you,' like any regular song on the radio. [0:26] Um, I wanted it specific to us. [0:29] So that's one of the hesitations I had. [0:32] I thought, oh, it's just going to be generic and say, 'I love you.' [0:40] 'We'll be together forever.' [0:42] No, I wanted something more specific. [0:45] And what were my doubts? [0:48] Um, just the the common theme of, [0:52] 'I love you,' not anything specific to us that was, you know, made tailored to us. [1:02] What made me decide was the form I filled out because it did ask for our story. [1:09] Um, I put our grandkids' names. [1:12] I put I didn't want to put too many names because I didn't want her to sing that over and over. [1:18] So I you can make it specific to the way you want it. [1:22] You know, I put our dog Max in it. [1:25] But I if we had several dogs, I wouldn't want to put all of their names, that would be redundant. [1:32] So I just picked out what I wanted. [1:35] And we've been together 34 years, and we lived in a trailer when we met. [1:40] Now we have a house and two nice cars, and we're getting ready for retirement. [1:45] So I put all of that in there, which was awesome. [1:50] Um, and our grandkids' names was important, so I put those in there. [1:55] And they sung them, they sung our grandkids' names. [2:00] Um, what happened when he listened to the song? [2:03] Well, first he thought it was just a song on the radio. [2:08] That I was just playing, um, that he thought, oh, that's not going to be any good, you know. [2:17] And then when it said engaged by an emerald ring and a 79 Nova. [2:24] He was so shocked. [2:26] He said, 'What?' [2:28] And then when it brought up his three brothers and his sister that passed away. [2:33] Um, I didn't put their names in there, it just saying three brothers and lost a sister too. [2:39] And he started crying. [2:42] That was it. [2:44] And that was just beautiful. [2:47] Um, I would do it, just go for it. [2:50] It's worth the money and they're going to love it. [2:55] Because, uh, you can make it tailored to you and they'll even make changes if you want. [3:01] Uh, so it's very nice, it's worth the money. [3:04] And now he wants to hear it all the time. [3:10] He wants to go out on the deck, which is what he likes to watch his hummingbird feeders. [3:18] And he'll say, 'Can you play our song?' [3:20] And it's not just any song on the radio or a song from when we first met, it's our song. [3:26] So it makes it more special.
