A custom memorial song for Gail

[0:01] Hi, my name's Sue Palmer and I came across the Divine Song webpage one day while looking for some gift ideas for my cousin Gale. [0:09] She had lost her son Adam and her husband Jim in the same year, and obviously she was very devastated by their loss. [0:17] And I wanted to find something special for her. [0:20] So this website kind of seemed like maybe it's an idea that she might like. [0:24] So I took a chance and I had them put together a song that uh kind of spoke to their life together and the special things that they shared. [0:33] And when I got the song, it was called Speak His Name, and oh my goodness, it was a beautiful song. [0:38] It is a beautiful song, and uh, I thought, well, this would be the gift I'm looking for. [0:43] So, I uh had them make it up for me, they did a great job. [0:47] And uh, went to her house with the gift and kind of just played it for her, didn't really talk about, you know, here's a gift or anything, just started playing the song. [0:55] She was listening and then she heard her name and she was kind of like, hmm. [0:59] And then it said her son's name Adam, and well, the water works started, but they were good tears. [1:04] I think they're tears that said she she now had a treasured song that she could listen to when she was thinking of her husband and her son her son. [1:12] So I was really happy I did it, if you're thinking of maybe putting a song together for somebody you love, I can't imagine that they wouldn't love it. [1:20] Just to listen and to surprise them and to think that you did that for them and to have something that they can listen to and know that you were thinking of them and wanted to do something special.
